We are looking for a Finance Assistant!

Location: Remote (with weekly virtual meetings)

Employment Type: Part-Time or Freelance (flexible hours negotiable)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Assistant to support our finance operations remotely. This role offers the opportunity to grow within the company and take on more responsibility over time, including budgeting and financial analysis related to our educational events and workshops.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Finance Manager through weekly virtual meetings

• Manage invoice creation using the accounting software Billit

• Follow up on invoice status and send reminders as needed

• Serve as the primary contact person for all finance-related queries from clients, partners, and internal teams

• Provide excellent customer service in handling financial matters

Future Responsibilities (with growth in role):

• Assist with budget planning for upcoming Polestar Pilates Benelux events and workshops

• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting and invoicing procedures

• Comfortable with remote work tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace, etc.)

• Experience with or willingness to learn Billit accounting software

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently

• Fluent in English (Dutch or French is a plus)
